I was called on my landline by this number, which I did not answer. The caller did not leave a voicemail, making me suspect that it could be a spam or scam attempt.
I received a call claiming to be from PayPal, marking the fourth scam call I've received today. It’s very frustrating and annoying to deal with these repeated calls.
I didn’t answer this call. If they really wanted to reach me, they wouldn't hang up after just three rings. A genuine caller would let it ring longer to give me time to answer.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon and knew my name. However, when I informed them that they had the wrong person, they hung up, which raises suspicions of a scam.
The caller claimed to be from Telstra, checking on my NBN details. However, when I tried calling back, the connection failed, which raises my suspicion.
My advice is to ignore this number like many others. It might also be a situation where the displayed number is faked.
A robocaller contacted me, stating they needed to verify a payment made through PayPal. This is likely a scam aiming to obtain personal information.
I put the call on speakerphone with my microphone muted. Nobody said anything, and after a while, they simply hung up. This appears to be a scam.
I got an automated call that falsely claimed to be from PayPal, demanding a payment of $900. I suspect this is a scam attempt.
This is a SCAM. The caller claimed to be from NBN and mentioned suspicious activity on my account, asking if I share my passwords. When I suggested that it might be a scam, they abruptly hung up on me.
I experienced the same issue as many other reports; this caller did not leave a message. The call came from a Brisbane number that I didn't recognize, leading me to believe it may be a scam or a phishing attempt.
The caller reached my work mobile but left no message when I missed the call. This leads me to think they are likely a scammer.
Automated message left a voice message about online shopping fraud.
Automated message purportedly from 'PayPal'. I don't even have PayPal. Definite SCAM!
I just received a call from this number, but they did not leave a voice message. It feels like it might be a phishing attempt.
Informed police... Trying to trace this person.
Scammer.
I have received calls from this number multiple times, and it's clearly a scam. I have blocked them, but they keep calling back.
I received an automated message claiming to be from PayPal, but it seemed suspicious and scam-like. I decided to hang up immediately instead of engaging with it.
Scam call. Left a message saying they were from PayPal. Definitely not from PayPal.
Scam call.
Scammer.
In my opinion, any caller who hangs up without leaving a message should be regarded as a scammer. I believe that our personal information is being shared by overseas support staff working for Australian Internet Service Providers, and it's concerning that little is being done by the government to protect us.
I did not answer this call as it was flagged for potential fraud. The caller did not leave a voicemail message.
