I've received calls from this number multiple times. The caller sounds very much like a natural person, but upon closer observation, it becomes evident that it's an AI. It tends to give itself away by repeating answers, revealing that it's not a real human on the other end.
This appears to be another spoofed number. The caller did not answer and left no message, so I will be blocking this number.
The voice on this number has rung on a number of occasions. Invariably starts by asking "I hope you are well" as soon as I hear this well rehearsed voice I reply "Yes" and hang up!!!
This number is likely a scammer. I recently had money stolen from my main bank account, so I am now extremely cautious about answering calls from unknown numbers.
I missed this call, and it went to my voicemail, but no message was left. This leads me to believe that it was from a non-genuine caller, possibly a scammer.
The caller was unknown, so I chose not to answer. I'm receiving many calls right now due to the end of the financial year, including scammers and charities.
I did not answer the call, and the caller did not leave a voicemail. I've been receiving numerous calls from similar Queensland numbers, claiming to be charities or not saying anything at all. I strongly suspect these are related to scams!
I received a call from this number regarding fundraising for a charity. The caller insisted that I donate to their organization and wouldn’t accept my explanation that I donate to other charities. They claimed the fund was a one-off and not ongoing, so I decided to hang up due to their pressure tactics.
This caller did not leave a message, and they hung up before I could ask them anything.
This number is associated with scamming activities. I have reported it to the "Do Not Call Register" and have blocked it to prevent further communication.
I typically avoid answering calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I answered this one out of curiosity. A woman on the line was soliciting donations of $40-$50 for a youth suicide prevention charity program named 'Alive.' When I declined, she quickly launched into a second pitch but lowered her request to $20, which I also declined. Her speech seemed very rehearsed or possibly pre-recorded, making it difficult to judge the authenticity of her request.
Seems a scam mostlikely, never leaves a voicemail, so I just block the number.
Fund raiser.
Last night I had a call from this number and I asked is this a Qld number and lady caller said she was calling from Melbourne.? Raising money for Youth Suicide and I was not convinced as so many want to scam money over the phone. My answer is never give details for anyone over the phone. Just be aware and alert. If you are any doubt speak with someone at Scam and report it as I will Monday. Hope this help's others.
I avoid answering calls from unfamiliar numbers, as most of them are charities soliciting donations or scams claiming that my internet is at risk.
I did not answer the call, and the caller did not leave a voicemail. Considering the high volume of scam calls I've received recently, I suspect this could be a scammer.
