An Indian man called claiming they wanted to clean our air conditioning and heating systems. When I asked if it was a cold call, he was very rude in his response. He refused to disclose who gave him my information when I pressed for details. I warned him that I'd be contacting the police. Be cautious; they appear to be scammers!
The caller claimed to represent some sort of cleaning company. I informed him that I was on the Do Not Call register and that his call was illegal. He simply responded, "oh ok," and hung up.
I have received calls from this number on two consecutive days. It appears to be a Brisbane phone number, but when I answered, I could hear a noisy call centre in the background. The first caller was a woman with an Indian accent who asked whether I was a homeowner. On the second day, I spoke to a man with an Indian accent as well. When I asked for his identity, he responded sarcastically by singing something incoherent about a "cleaning company."
This number claims to belong to a cleaning company, but I'm skeptical about their legitimacy and don’t fully believe it.
Scammers are contacting people, offering to come over and clean their air conditioning ducting system. I recommend hanging up immediately and blocking the number.
Didn’t answer & there was no message left on the phone. I blocked the number & deleted it, assuming it was a scam. I now do this with every number I don’t know. Have been scammed before. Never again, too much to loose.
An man with an Indian accent called me but seemed to take offense at my tone when I answered. After I asked him what he wanted, he responded with 'nothing now' and abruptly ended the call, which felt very unprofessional.
A person with an Indian accent called claiming to be from an aircon company. It just happens that I had an aircon technician at my home yesterday to inspect a faulty evaporation tray which has to be replaced, but I told today’s caller I deal only with my usual aircon company and hung up. I guessed it was a scam and am relieved to see that my instincts were correct.
I received a call about 'Air Conditioning cleaning'. The caller had a very noisy background, making it hard to hear. They addressed me by name, which was unsettling. When I inquired about who they spoke to at my real estate agency, they seemed flustered. I ended the call by saying 'good try'.
Weirdo. Man with an international accent called claiming to be from an aircon cleaning company, said I wasn't the property owner & I wasn't interested. He asked for the landlords details & I told him that I don't know who the landlord is (not that I would give them the details if I did know). He proceeding to say I have a really cute voice & all this random shit. I responded with that's weird & hung up.
The caller repeatedly asked if I was the homeowner and avoided telling me where he was from. When I mentioned that he had called a Government mobile number, he claimed he didn't understand what I meant.
Indian? Saying they are for aircon cleaning.
Calls but never answers. Likely a scam.
Most definitely a scam - called me, after I picked up, thet dropped the line. I called back, a man with an Indian accent introduced himself as 'Ben', mumbled the name of his "business". When I asked to repeat the "business" name, dropped the call.
Called but didn’t answer. Left a message just repeating “Hello?” Over about 4 times. Sounded bogan.
This is definitely a scam call. After I answered, they hung up. When I called back, a man with an Indian accent introduced himself as "Ben" and mumbled the name of his business. When I asked him to repeat it, he ended the call abruptly.
Called, didn't answer, they left no message.
During the call, no one spoke on the other end, and there was a lot of noise in the background. The call ended abruptly after about 5 seconds. I suspect this may be a scam call.
International (indian?) call pretending to be air cond cleaning company looking for the “homeowner” I said I’m on the “do not call list” and immediately hung up & blocked!!
