This number was used in a transaction where a fraudulent card was employed to attempt the purchase of goods.
Rang our shop and purchased over $5000 worth of power tools, wanted to get a courier to pick up goods. Stolen card used.
The caller purported to want to make a purchase over the phone and also mentioned wanting to cancel an order and request a refund. They asked for my card numbers, which raised a red flag since I had previously had my card numbers stolen.
I received a call from someone trying to sell goods over the phone. After agreeing to make a purchase, I decided to cancel the order and requested a refund for the virtual card used. It turns out this virtual card was associated with a school, indicating that the call was fraudulent.
