I received a text saying, "Hey, it's mum – I lost my phone." I was advised to NOT REPLY to this message, as it’s likely a scam attempt to get personal information.
Some doofus calling me mum and telling me they have a broken screen. No kids here so jokes on them.
The caller left a message with a suspicious link, claiming that my Apple Wallet was suspended. I advise everyone not to click on the link, as it may be a phishing attempt.
I received a scam text message claiming it was from my Mum, asking for money and advising me to call another phone number. It's definitely a fraudulent message.
I received a scam call pretending to be from someone close to me. The caller said, “Hey mum it’s me. I’ve lost my phone, text me on this number. It’s urgent.” Do not fall for this trick!
I got a text message that looked like it was from "Telstra," stating they couldn't confirm my billing details and included a link that I should click to prevent suspension of my line. This is clearly a scam.
This caller left me a voicemail stating that my "Apple Pay" has been suspended. The problem is, I've never owned an Apple device at all in my life.
Scam alert! I received a message that claimed to be from my mother stating, "Something happened mum, I need to talk. Can you text me on WhatsApp? My phone broke, I have a new number it’s 0493 570 456. It’s urgent!" This seems very suspicious and likely a scam attempt.
