According to a report on 26 May 2022, a user received a voicemail from this number. The message featured a woman with an Australian accent claiming that the user's internet would be cut off within 24 hours due to issues concerning the National Broadband Network (NBN) in the locality. Scam

My phone rang but I did not answer it because I did not recognise the number. Moments later a voicemail sounded: a woman with an Australian accent said that my internet service would be cut off within 24 hours because the National Broadband Network was in my locality; and to press 1 to get the technician to ensure the service is not disconnected. She did not say whom she represented, neither did she mention any of my personal details. Yet another clumsy case of attempted fraud!

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of 0487 144 220 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
