I received a scam call pretending to be from my bank, claiming they were contacting me about my Visa and MasterCard due to suspicious activity. They asked for details of my transaction history, which raised alarm bells.
The caller claimed to be from "PayPal," but their accent clearly indicated they were from an Indian call center. Legitimate PayPal communications would never come from a personal mobile number, so I strongly suspect this is a scam.
I received a call from this number informing me that someone had accessed my Amazon account and had added an iPhone to my shopping cart. The caller asked if it was me, and when I responded no, they abruptly hung up.
