Scam

No call but got SMS today from this, look unusual so never opened before able to check for information about any scam connection status. The message, visible without opening it to read is:

"Hi [My First Name], could you please contact Reina on 08 6214 2387 in relation to Oj. Alternatively, please pass of this..."

I've no idea who any Reina is, the unknown (expect is spoofed) number to call or anyone named Oj that I could be helping somehow.

Fake, scam, you name it so avoid like the plague.

This number is a scammer or hacker who claims to work for Optus and continues to call back making out there are court matters against you. When is asked to verify my full name address or a pervious address they simply ignored me. Some how they managed to send me text messages with my name then told me there is a court matter against me and wanted me to pay up front. I hung up two days later they rang again the same person. I found they were looking up ABN search as well as RP DATA records and could not verify the address. I blocked the number.

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of 0439 806 492 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
