I received two calls from the same number. The first call had a typical delay and claimed to be from the 'NBN' Tech Department but was not associated with my Internet provider, so I ended the call suspecting it was a scam. The second call was a recorded message from the 'Visa Fraud Department' regarding a suspicious charge of $1,099. I also received a similar call a few weeks earlier, which makes me think this is a scam as well. It's quite annoying!

Told me I am eligible for a 50% discount on my Telstra account for the next 6 months. Tried to make me change my password by sending a change link. When I said I am not doing this he hung up.

Gave his name as Michael Cole JOB ID D432615.

Received a call from a woman claiming to be from the "Vodafone billing department" at a foreign call center. I informed her that I do not have a contract with Vodafone and hung up. I suspect this could be an attempt to collect personal data.
