The person on the line claimed to be calling from the National Broadband Network (NBN) but abruptly hung up when questioned, making me suspicious of their legitimacy.
I received a call on July 3, 2023, from someone claiming to be from eBay stating there was a transaction occurring under my name. I have decided to block this number.
An Indian male, Pretended to be from the National Broadband Network with a "free upgrade" to my internet service as my internet speeds are low... I am not with the National Broadband Network. When I said I wasn't interested he got a bit annoyed. I hung up on him.
I received a call from the number 0482 074 967. The caller, a woman named Gracie, claimed to represent Telstra. She said they were assessing my internet speed and wanted to offer a free upgrade. However, she then started asking personal usage questions that I believe Telstra would already know the answers to. Feeling suspicious, I ended the call.
I did not answer this call, and they did not leave a voicemail message.

This caller pretended to be a representative from Telstra and NBN. He asked me about my internet provider, but I found it odd that someone claiming to work for Telstra wouldn’t already know that information. The call ended abruptly when I challenged him.
I've been receiving calls from this number at dinnertime, and they never leave a message. I find this suspicious and suspect they have questionable motives. Nowadays, I find it challenging to block calls effectively, unlike in the past when filtering calls was easier.
