SCAM FOR SURE.
Just got the same message as above about a payment not going through, I thought it was a scam cos my direct debit was set up to withdraw the money on the 18th (it's the 16th today) and even on occasions where that account is empty, my bank still allows it to be overdrawn in order to pay the bill.
Very crafty, even the website looks pretty legit (logo, fonts etc) but something sent off alarm bells because Optus customer messages never show a phone number, the contact is just "OPTUS", "OPTUS USAGE" or "OPTUS BILLING".
