Indian man calling from call centre. He knew my name - then said he was from the economic something department. Wanted to ask me questions about my finances and the economic situation in Australia. I said no - he kept talking over me - I said I wasn’t interested - and so he hung up while he yelled at me that I didn’t have a brain...
They knew my name, thick indian accent, could hear other 'operators' talking in the background. She asked me if I had time for a survey about international financial investments and COVID, I knew it was a scam so decided to waste their time... They hung up on me as soon as I said I was out of work for 18 months and was not of retirement age. That's not Scammy behaviour, Noooo! /s.
Be careful. They say they are doing a survey but they are gathering your financial information for malicious use.
Financial survey scammers.
