Ladies out there, be wary of Costas / Con POULOS who uses two different phone numbers 0455 201 865 (which he reckons was his work mobile) and 0413 786 149 (which he reckons was his personal mobile). He used the same story on me as already mentioned by other people. Stated he lives in Goondiwindi with his mate "Mark" (leaving out his surname). He reckons he owns an irrigated cotton farm near Narren Lakes that his second eldest son runs, has a "station" 2.5 hrs south west of Katherine that his eldest son runs that is a dry cotton farm, with white brahman cattle and does live exports out of Darwin. He stated that he is currently in the process of purchasing "Aroona " station which is owned by Gina Rinehart and is the neighboring property to his, that he was always wanted to buy..... When I was suppose to meet up with him later one week, he said he had been at the "shed" in Goondiwindi and had stepped on some Reo mesh in long grass which had pierced a toe on his left foot, that got infected and he was flown from Goondiwindi Hospital to Toowoomba Hospital and a short time later he had a mid foot amputation due to the infection getting into the bone of his foot. He reckons he spent 3 weeks in hospital and was then flown (via RFD) back to Goondiwindi for a few more nights in hospital before returning home and being on a knee scooter. He stated he didn't want our first meeting to be him not upright walking as he felt "vunerable" and is a "proud" man. I accepted that for a period of time until his stories he was telling me didn't make sense and he slipped up a few times giving me a different version from something that happened. He used the same story on me that he had 3 boys and 1 daughter who is in private boarding school in Warwick QLD and that he was looking at stepping back from the businesses at the end of the year and letting his eldest son take over. He mentioned wanting to purchase an Aston Martin vehicle and had ordered a RAM 1500 TRX (which was due for delivery in March 2026). He mentioned he had 3 grandsons and another grandchild due end of February 2026. We spoke on the phone every day and then he stopped all of a sudden, which was odd as the last conversation I had with him seemed normal. After 3 days of no contact we did some searches on him and found that he is not who he claims to be and there is a history of him doing this ruse with other women for over 2 years now.

This bloke has been ringing me daily like clockwork, weaving this elaborate tale about his two sons, their wives, and his three grandkids – one of which is due any minute! He even talked about a fancy Aston Martin he’s expecting in June 2026. Mentioned some cotton farms in Goondiwindi – quite the storyteller! Delayed our meet-up twice, claiming some break-in at his office. I reckon it’s all a load of rubbish!
