Received a call, claiming to be from Vodafone.

Confirmed scam call.

Told me my number was used in an overseas fraud, but wouldn’t give me time to confirm this with other authorities he named, and insisted on transferring the call immediately.

When I refused, the caller made it sound like a risk because the call would not be given to the CHINA police in Fuzhou (he spelt Fuzhou, as Fuchou, it’s wrong).

Super suspicious. Do not give any personal information.

Scam call! Targeting Chinese speaking communities, first they will says on behalf of Vodafone and about to limited your service, due to such and such issue. They seem to know all your information and try to check with you during the conversation whether it is true. Next, you will keep receiving calls from various agencies to contact you. These are all pretended by them. Of course, this is all based on Message from your first call.
