This number I believe was genuine as I had it before but this last time it said my parcel was being delivered today and I really needed it. When it didn't arrive I looked up my source and it is not being delivered for another 2 weeks. I'm tempted to block this number but I believe at least one of my previous messages was legit.

Just check directly with your seller and don't click their link.

I reckon this number is legit, related to Aust Post. I've had a few messages about parcels at the post office. The staff said it’s a scam though... but I’ve been expecting parcels and the messages are spot on! What’s really going on then?

It was a legit Australia Post notification (the tracking number they gave matched one I was expecting) but of course scammers can fake the number they send things from, so if your message doesn't name your local post office or asks you to click any links you should probably ignore it. If in doubt, put the tracking number into the Auspost web site and see what it says.

I was suspicious but my wife checked the number on her phone had several in past when a parcel is coming and seems legit and just Australia post.

Otherwise it’s a very elaborate hoax and I would never return a call anyway to any unknown number. It is possible but I doubt it.
