I received three text messages from a number claiming to be Samsung, along with eight missed calls occurring between 1 AM and 7:30 AM on a Sunday morning. I suspect that my personal information has been shared with other scam organizations as a result of these communications.

I received a text invitation saying, "Please join us as we celebrate Australia Day! Starting from January 25-27, 2025," along with a link that I chose not to click on.

The message I received contained a suspicious instruction: "The poem will contain no less than 30 words and no more than 50. Ensure all candidates are aware of this task. More to follow..." This leads me to believe that it could be a scam.

I received a message from this number claiming they couldn't charge my health fund for services rendered by Dr. Angus Thompson. This was concerning because I have never heard of this doctor before. They had accurate details about my health fund and referred to me using my full name. Subsequently, I blocked the number to prevent further contact.

I received a text sent to my friend's phone, but it had my name on it! The text claimed to require a response of "yes" to set up an appointment. I recognized this as a scam attempt and blocked the number.

I received a text message stating that my gym account was overdue and that I would be charged $10. However, I haven’t been contacted by my gym about any issues, and my other payments have processed normally. Because of these factors, I suspect that this message is a scam.

I received a call from Hollard Insurance and was encouraged to obtain a fair and reasonable quote from them, especially as I'm located in Queensland (QLD).

I received a call that stated, "Hi, [name], please call AGL at 133 677 regarding a pending issue with your energy connection due to an unknown load on the meter, an unsafe issue, or lack of access to the meter." I researched the number 133 677 and found that it belongs to the national relay service, which raises questions about the legitimacy of the caller's intentions.

Claims a subscription I have has expired. It hasn't. Offers a 30% discount to renew on a dodgy looking alpha numeric link.

I received a call from this number stating that I have scuba diving gear that needs to be picked up. Since I do not own any scuba gear, I believe this is a scam.

I received a message from this number stating: "Hi, this is a courtesy message to let you know your trial is due to expire on 14/10/2023." This raises red flags for me, and I suspect it is a scam.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Headspace, requesting me to participate in a survey by clicking a link. This raised red flags for me.

I received a nonsensical text message regarding timesheet availability and was given the option to reply "STOP" to opt out. I have decided to block this number.

This phone number is associated with a scam operation that appears to be ongoing, consistently targeting unsuspecting individuals.

Text message received from this number states "The NSW Government is rebating $2500 to upgrade your electric hot water system and save on bills. Text YES if interested" - SCAM!!!

I continuously receive calls from this number, and each time it feels like a scam. It's frustrating to be bombarded with what appears to be scam calls constantly.

... The obvious question is; wtf are they scamming?

I received a message from the number claiming to offer a way to reduce energy bills by taking advantage of federal and government solar rebates available in my area. They asked me to text "YES" for more information.

I received a message asking if I have an electric hot water system, stating the Victorian government is funding free upgrades to a power-saving heat pump. It requested a response of "YES" if interested.

The message I received stated: "Hey (name withheld), we've saved you a camping spot at the Great Victorian Bike Ride 2022," and included a hyperlink. I suspect this is a scam and plan to contact Bicycle Victoria to inform them that their information may have been compromised.

I received a message claiming that the NSW Government is offering a rebate of $2500 to upgrade electric hot water systems to help save on bills. It seems unlikely that the government would provide such a generous offer.

SMS claims that a $2500 rebate is available for upgrading my hot water system. Say YES if interested. Only the number at top indicates caller. No NSW Gov't shows up at top as well.

I received a text message asking if I have electric hot water, stating that the VIC Government is funding FREE upgrades to a power-saving Heat Pump. The message instructs me to text "YES" if I’m interested.

I received a message addressed to "Ulysses," informing me that my gym membership fee is due for renewal on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Received SMS claiming I'd shown interest in a house in Glenmore (which is nowhere near me, and I have NOT shown any interest).

Some sort of scam??

I received a text message from Plus Fitness Caddens trying to sell a gym membership. The message instructed me to reply with "SAVE" to join or "STOP" to opt out. I researched and discovered that this number has been involved in several scams, so I blocked the number and deleted the text.

I received an unsolicited SMS message promoting a program called "Lifestyle Trader" scheduled for 6:00 PM AEST on April 20. They promised to send a link to my email that never arrived, suggesting a scam to lure people into monetizing currency markets. I have blocked the number and deleted the message.
