Received a call this morning, identified themselves as collecting information regarding superannuation and just need a few details to organise a consultant to basically help me identify if my superannuation is in the right hands or if I’m paying too much in fees. Caller asked my name and if I still lived in a certain suburb (of which I have not lived in for sometime) they also asked if I had over $100,000.00 in super. Caller didn’t like when I asked questions and said that I am cautious to give out any personal information over the phone as I am unable to tell for sure they aren’t a scammer. Lady also assured me they weren’t a scammer but said if I didn’t give them certain details they were unable to help me or get a consultant to call me back. When I further declined to give out any information she said they can’t help me then and ceased the call.

I attempted to phone them back however call would not go through in the above number so I’m leaning towards definately a scam!
