The caller pretended to be from the NBN (National Broadband Network), trying to gain my trust but not providing any legitimate information.

Received call from 0420 040 654 yesterday lady name Mitchell employee ID commb 16180 that I’m calling from comm bank and asking do you authorise a transaction to California around $3500 dollars which obviously I didn’t authorised. I’ve asked her to send me the report to my net bank without telling her any account details which I know she won’t be able to send any kind of report. Still haven’t received any report from her though.

So please be very careful about those kind of calls and DO NOT give any details instead visit your local bank or give call to discuss how would the bank approach you in this situation.
