The caller claimed they wanted to upgrade my Vodafone service at no extra cost, which seemed suspicious and clearly resembled a scam.
I avoid answering unknown callers. They left a voicemail that was unsettling, as it sounded like someone simply breathing. I suspect it is a scam. When I returned the call using a withheld caller ID, I was directed to a message that said the voice mailbox is full, which further raises my suspicions.
This individual claimed they were from Vodafone and requested my security PIN, which raised red flags as it is likely part of a phishing scam.
