Last night, I received a call claiming there were unauthorized transactions on my Visa card. The problem is that I don't even own a Visa card! When I confronted them, they insisted that someone had used my phone number for a Visa application, but I told them they were lying, and they abruptly hung up.
This number 03 94954764 called today, I was busy and missed the call.
Tried to call back and it said number disconnected!...SCAMMER!
I received an automated voice message claiming that my card had been used and said it was from ANZ bank. Since I do not have an account with them, I am convinced this is a scam attempt.
Rings up no one there this number has rang before upto no good.
I was contacted by this number claiming to be from the NBN, insisting that I need to reset my modem. This seems like a scam operation to me.
I missed a call from this number, and when I tried to call back, I was unable to connect. Based on this experience, I believe it is likely a scam call.
