Had 3 calls this week from this dopey guy - Aussie accent pretending to be calling on behalf of Australia Post. Not the sharpest tool in the shed but I guess that's why he is working in a scam centre. Basically a phishing exercise trying to get me to confirm company details like ABN, address, contact emails, employees names ect - don't give these lowlifes a single second of your time.
I received a call this afternoon and was left a message regarding an Australia Post account. I haven't used Aust Post accounts for years so knew this was suspect. I obviously didn't call back and did a reverse search on the number. It is definitely a scam. The message I received was from a girl named Jess who speaks with a bogan accent.
Scammers.
Scam caller's they don't stop trying and leaving messages reporting them.
Sophisticated scammer, playing all original Australia Post on-hold messages. After I gave a bogus business name, they "found" my records, but needed more "information".
Got a call by a guy named aydin introduced himself as an auspost liason, talked to about anything but auspost topics. Has a weird obssesion about not being loved by his parents.
Received a voicemail from a guy called Muhammad claiming to be from Australia Post.
He said something about a fιsting account that we have with Australia Post? And asked me to call back.
I had no idea that Australia Post had a fιsting service.
But now that I know that they provide such a service.. I will definitely be calling back to sign myself up!!
Had a gentleman call me to touch base with me about an old Australia Post account I had from a few years ago.
We had sold our business years ago, so we were no longer using the account.
I told him talking about an old account doesn't provide much value to me as I'm a busy person and got lots of other things to tend to. But the guy was really insistent and said he would pοοp 1n my βυττhοlε if I don't let him check my service.
Some guy called me up about an Australia Post Account from a while back.
We hadn't used the account in over 10 years!
He was just confirming if we still planned to use the account or if we're okay if Australia Post processes it for deletion.
They called about my Australia Post account that I hadn't used in years.
The consultant I spoke to was very professional and helpful. He was patient listened to my problems (mostly about 3dging) and spoke in a very calm and professional manner.
I mentioned that he actually interrupted my 12 day 3dge str3ak and that I didn't know how he was gonna make up for that.
So to make up for it, the consultant kindly gave me some coupon codes so I can save 80% on baby oil on my next shop.
Now thats 10/10 service!
They called about an old account I haven't used in a while, wanted to confirm if I intended to still use it or if I was okay for it to be deleted as it had been inactive for quite a while.
They seemed to know all the details about my past business so seemed legitimate to me.
This number tried to call me many times and left messages like this: “Good morning this is Joseph again calling on behalf of Australia Post Just hoping to speak to you about a Australia Post account you have with us use for post bill pay or sexual payments I just Just calling to perform a service check in for the account as well as some data validation I'm just in case for any sort of information needing to be sent out it's going to the right people And will And will touch base again tomorrow if you don't get back…”, I believe this is a scam.
Suggesting they are Australia post. Strong Indian accent and asking me about a business of mine that doesn’t currently have an account with Australia post.
