I received a call from (03) 9319 2698. The caller was unprofessional and made false allegations. I plan to report this to Telstra for misuse of their services.
I received a call from an Indian call center, claiming to be from Telstra regarding our NBN service, even though we don't use Telstra for internet. I'm unsure of the legitimacy of this call and plan to contact Telstra directly to verify. Always remember not to share personal details over the phone to stay safe.
This call was not a scam. The caller was attempting to confirm our upcoming NBN (National Broadband Network) appointment that we had scheduled.
In my experience, this is not a scam. I reached out to Telstra to upgrade my FTTN service to FTTP, and they informed me that their service center would be calling me to confirm installation details. They did indeed call me, so it appears to be legitimate.
According to one report, this number has been associated with Telstra NBN for 23 years. However, an individual claiming to work for Telstra stated this, which is strange since the first connections for NBN only occurred in 2010, meaning this person has fabricated their account by 10 years. Definitely sounds like a scam!
This call came from a legitimate representative of the Telstra NBN Support Team. They provided me with an update regarding the status of my NBN upgrade.
This number called claiming to be from Telstra regarding NBN services; however, I suspect it is a fraudulent call.
This number belongs to Telstra, and I've been an employee there for nearly 23 years. I receive calls from this number daily, so it is not a scam for those unfamiliar with it.
I visited the Telstra shop to upgrade my NBN service from FTTN to FTTP. After providing my details, I received a follow-up call a few days later, which was legitimate and from their NBN team.
This call was legitimate; it was related to a planned NBN upgrade, providing information about the procedure and dates for the work to be carried out.
I was anticipating a call from Telstra regarding my issue, but the person on the call knew nothing about my case. I had already discussed this matter with someone from Telstra earlier, which makes me suspect this was a scam.
This call is definitely from Telstra. If you have questions, just call their official customer service number at 1300. It's surprising that some people are not taking the initiative to verify this information.
This call was not a scam. I had recently switched to a different Telstra NBN service and had not yet connected my new modem to the UNI-D 2 port. The caller was aware of this situation and reached out to offer assistance with the connection. I verified this by calling the official Telstra number and was transferred to the same department, where both representatives had an Indian accent.
I received a scam call from this number. I contacted Telstra to verify if it was a genuine call, and the representative informed me that they do not make calls from landline numbers. I recommend that people block this number.
I have been receiving multiple calls from the number (03) 9319 2000 over the past week, but no messages are left. While some posts on this forum suggest it may be Telstra, I contacted Telstra directly, and they confirmed that it is likely a scam. They also pointed out that they don't call from landlines. I recommend that others block this number to avoid annoyance.
I received a voicemail from someone claiming to be from Telstra regarding NBN connection, which we already have under my wife’s name. They mentioned my name, which is alarming. I confirmed with Telstra that this is a scam. Please do not respond and block this number!
These are definitely scammers. Those claiming otherwise might be part of their scheme. They’ve also been emailing my dad about issues with his bill using an email that mimics the Telstra logo and webpage. It may look real, but if you check the end of the email address, it’s clear it’s fake. Beware, it’s a scam for sure.
The caller started by confirming my name and then insisted that I provide my date of birth. I found it odd since my phone provider already has all my information. The caller, who had an Indian accent, was very pushy. I expressed that I was uncomfortable with the conversation and hung up. I have since blocked this number.
I received a call claiming to address a problem with my NBN service, which was installed last week and is functioning correctly. After I informed the caller and hung up, I received an SMS from 0428 112 094 stating that I would get a call from Telstra. This SMS included a link and an 1800 number, but the link led to an error page. I am unsure if this communication is legitimate.
03 9319 2000.......... This is TELSTRA.
