They rang me pretending to be from the immigration department. All I could hear was this dodgy, pre-recorded voice with a weird pause before they started talking – mate, I'm an Aussie citizen, and I could smell the scam from a mile away, so I hung up!
Got a cheeky voicemail from this number, half in Chinese and half in English. They claimed to be from ACMA and threatened to suspend my membership in two hours! Sounds a bit off, doesn’t it?
So, I picked up a call from this number, some dodgy recorded message in a Chinese accent claiming to be from the Department of Foreign Affairs. Total scam - avoid it like the plague!
I picked up and said “hi, this is (my name),” and guess what? They just listened and hung up! Definitely feels like they're trying to harvest my voice for some dodgy scam.
The first call claimed to be from DHL, and today it’s from the Dept of Home Affairs? Sounds a bit sketchy, doesn’t it? I’ve blocked them all and reported to ScamWatch—better safe than sorry!
I received a call from someone named Annie Smith who had a thick accent. Before I could ask anything, the call just dropped. Pretty dodgy, if you ask me.
Got a call saying, "We need to update your health info. Press 1 for English, 2 for Chinese." Total scam!
This is a flat-out scam! They said they were from Westpac credit card and started babbling about dodgy transactions overseas. They mentioned a couple of buys from Singapore, like flights and Airbnb or something. I joked that I’d love to go to Singapore, but nah, not happening!
Picked up, but they just hung up on me without saying a word.
Left a voicemail about “full customer service inquiries" – “press one for English, two for Chinese,” totally dodgy!

I received a call from this number, and it seems to be a scam. They were asking for personal information and trying to deceive me.
I received a call from a person claiming to be from Telstra, offering help with my internet. When I told him I would verify with Telstra directly, he asked for the name "John White" and then abruptly hung up on me.
