This number keeps popping up, usually disregarding it. They accidentally left a voicemail pretending to be Telstra about my internet, but I double-checked with them and they don’t know a thing! Best to be cautious, could be fishy!
The 03 9316 prefix has to date 15 suffixes including 9214 that are reported as being used by scam agents. Our constant vigilance is keeping our community aware and alert to the activities of these individuals (or groups) and the phone numbers they are using for their offending. Yo this number did leave no message I just hung up on it when it was just silent. This isn’t Australian we need this to stop! Australia what are you doing!? Why is my number available to maggots elsewhere I’m sick of this shit!
They claimed to be from Telstra, saying my internet and IP address had issues. When I said it sounded sus and like a scam, they hung up on me. Classic scam vibe, watch out!
Got a dodgy call pretending to be from Telstra, total scam vibes!
Got a recorded message claiming to be from the Department of Home Affairs. I dunno about you, but that sounds fishy. Just keep an eye out!
Yes 100% I let it go to VM. An AI voice says press 1 for English, press 2 for Chinese etc. Total BS. Block the number and delete it.
This number left a recorded message about some kind of international delivery. I’d say it's definitely a scam; I hung up fast!
Got a call from this number, but they didn’t bother leaving a message. Tried ringing back but the call wouldn't go through.
Received a missed call midday 18/6/25 - prompted me to press 1 for English, followed by a recorded message in a different (Asian?) language.
As well, there was a Telstra alert stating: "Warning: Suspicious Calling Pattern". Blocked & Deleted.

Got a call from this mob today, but they didn’t leave a voicemail. Seems like a scam to me!
Had a call from this number, claiming my IP address was public and trying to get me to follow their instructions. When I said my screen said private, they dropped a nasty “F U” and hung up! What a laugh!
I received a call from this number, and when I picked up, the caller left a suspicious voicemail. The message claimed I had missed a call from the Australian government, and prompted me to press 1 for English, followed by a recorded message in a different language.
The caller claimed to have obtained my phone number from a specific list but refused to disclose which list, even after I asked her three times. She then abruptly hung up on me, raising my suspicions about her intentions.
I received a recorded message regarding a fraudulent online transaction, urging me to either decline or approve it. It seems likely that this is a scam attempt.
