Community Safety Reports
Classifications reflect anonymised community-submitted reports and represent observed interaction patterns only. They do not identify callers or constitute verified findings.

Got a call from this number but they were too shy to leave a message. Then, they just sent a text instead. What gives?
I got a call about donating blood. They seemed pretty genuine, so if you're up for it, might wanna lend a hand! Sounds like a good cause!
Got a call from the Red Cross, they're just reaching out to past donors to see if anyone's up for giving blood or plasma again. Not sure why anyone would crack the sads about that, mate!
Callers should leave a message when they call. With the high volume of scam calls, it's understandable that we are hesitant to answer unknown numbers that do not leave messages.
This call was regarding a worthy cause and is not spam or a scam. As a registered blood donor, I received a call asking when I am available to donate blood, though they don’t always leave a message.
Its Red Cross Blood donation.
If these callers would leave a message, it might help people to take the calls more seriously instead of assuming they are scams.
I don't have any issues with Lifeblood contacting me, but they really should leave a message. Otherwise, I might mistake their call for that of a telemarketer.
Lifeblood is reaching out to inform me that they will be in my area soon and are asking if I would like to donate blood. It's a wonderful initiative to support healthcare and those in need.
This number is verified as the correct contact for the blood bank. They were following up on a previous inquiry I made, and the person left a real message, not an automated one.
I answered a call from this number, but there was complete silence on the other end, and the call disconnected after a few seconds.
The caller from this number was legitimate. I needed to reschedule an appointment, and they called me from this number to discuss it.
I received a genuine call from the Blood Bank, now known as Australian Red Cross Life Blood. They wanted to schedule my next blood donation, and everything went smoothly. No concerns here!
I answered the call and said "hello," but the caller immediately hung up without saying anything.
Based on comments I read here, this call was likely from the Red Cross Lifeblood, which I believe is reaching out to me as a blood donor. While I will keep the phone number saved for future reference, I don't plan to call them back unless they contact me again. If they do call again, I intend to answer the call.
The caller did not leave a voicemail, so I blocked the number immediately. I'm not interested in any future communications from them.
This is from Red Cross - If you donate blood - they need you!
Answered this number but silence on the other end so I hung up.
Yes I just got a call from this number - it went to voice mail (but they didn't leave a message) but I don't trust number I don't know.
