Caller left message saying I owed lots of $’s on my eBay account - SCAM - I don’t have an account with eBay.
On 12/10/2023, I received a call from (03) 9192 4971, and I believe it is definitely a scam.
It was a guy claiming he was Peter from the Commonwealth bank. I knew straight away he was lying because the call was delayed because they were calling from overseas.
This is a scam number: I answered and was informed that my Amazon account would be renewed.... I then hung up as have never had any dealings with Amazon!
Tried to call back after receiving short call, says the voice mailbox is full and cannot receive any calls. suspicious.
