Scam

These people claim to be from "power saver" which is a Melbourne based company, they are associated with scammers who give them victim information then try to offer you a better deal. The scammers told me to lie about owing on my power bill, something a legit company would never do. This company is paying scammers for their victims information, the guy who called from this number panicked when I told him he's working with scammers. Once I said I waste scammers time and give fake details he said "oh never mind" then quickly ended the conversation before hanging up. He played dumb about working with scammers, it was very obvious he knows what's going on based on his panic reaction to me asking questions about his company and the scammers company. If you get a call from this number report it to australian scam watch. DO NOT GIVE THEM REAL INFORMATION, IT TOOK 2 HOURS TALKING TO THE FIRST SCAMMER BEFORE HE PASSED MY INFORMATION ON. LEGIT COMPANIES DOn't SPEND 2 HOURS TALKING ABOUT THE PRICE OF YOUR ELECTRICITY, OR TELL YOU TO LIE TO THE FOLLOW UP COMPANY ABOUT YOUR POWER BILL. AN INDIAN ACCENT ON A RANDOM CALL SHOULD BE A RED FLAG, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PHONE NUMBER DOESN'T SHOW AS A COMPANY WHEN YOU LOOK IT UP.
