I am constantly geting annoying calls from this number I have left that the phone goes to message so they hang up as soon as it goes there. Also if I answer it they hang up without saying anything. The phone number also comes up as 04390630310.
The caller said they were representing Telstra security, but it sounded suspicious and appeared to be just another scam attempt.
Said they were from Telstra internet. I hung up.
This number appeared to be from Melbourne, Victoria. I missed the call, and they didn’t leave a voicemail. When I returned the call, a recorded message informed me that the number was not connected. I suspect this might be a scam as they could be using a hijacked number.
I received a call from someone who identified himself as Harry Wilson from Telstra security. He spoke with an Indian accent and claimed that hackers were using my internet to create fake files for cyber hacks. He wanted me to turn on my computer to verify my customer ID number.
