I suspect this is a scam. I answered the call but was met with silence, so I subsequently blocked the number.
I answered a call where the person introduced themselves as "Sam." When I inquired about the origin of the call, they abruptly hung up, indicating they recognized I was not a potential victim.
The caller addressed me by name and inquired about my hot water service. When I mentioned that I don’t have one, the caller abruptly ended the conversation. The caller had an Indian accent, which added to my suspicion.
The caller knew my name and claimed to be offering rebates for a hot water service. However, when I told them I wasn't a homeowner, they hung up abruptly.
An individual with an Indian accent told me, "You don’t talk to me!" despite the fact that they initiated the call. I could hear call center noise in the background, which is typical for scams.
Received a call from this number, and was addressed by my first name after a lengthy delay of silence. Noisy background. Hung up when I asked who's calling. Suspected scam call centre.
F*king scammers just can't help trying to get money out of people surely they can't be this dumb to ring everyday.
03 8518 0842 did call me on March11 2025 and ask me name "A" and I answered I'm not "A" and she cut line.
I answered the call, but there was a noticeable delay before they cut the line. It felt like a scam call.
I suspect this call was a scam because no message was left. I have blocked the number to prevent further contact.
The caller left a voicemail that consisted solely of giggles and background chatter typical of a call center environment.
