I received a call from the Commonwealth Bank's security department; must be something legit going on.
Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra’s tech department. Just didn’t feel right, if you ask me!
.. The usual call centre delay followed by caller advising they were calling from "the Telstra" about internet issues regarding IP address. Suspect a scam of sorts and this site seems to confirm with other experiences from the same number.
This number claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank, but I have to admit, I’m not 100% on it. Just wanted to throw it out there for a heads-up.
I just got a call from this number trying to tell be I needed to pay $USD 700 to someone called Jason via PayPal. It’s a scam. So be careful and the caller said they would “ help me”. When I said it seems like a scam to me. The caller hung up. Be warned and wary.
Suspected scam call. Didn't answer.
Hangup call back scam.
