03 8103 3077 - SCAM - Ignore.
Just got a call from the knob telling me I had a tax avoidance complaint and would be arrested.
There is a special place in hell for these people.
Blocked.
A scam. I received this same call from (03) 8103 3077. Foreign accent. Fraudulent and threatening.
Left a message, which goes something like this: 'There is a complaint under "your name" (literally says "your name" multiple times, since it is an auto recording). Tax evasion and tax fraud issue; before we take the matter to the local district court; talks about warrants; says his name is Michael Anderson from the ATO; call us on (03) 8103 3077; do not ignore this message. Etc etc'.
I hope everyone sees that this is a scam and doesn't endure any anxiety because of these low lives.
Shocked. How do these people sleep at night..? Phone scamming business is turning into violence now.
Threatening to arrest me?! What? Speechless. Absolutely flabbergasted by this new trend of scammers.
Does anyone know where we can report these unscrupulous people...?
Scan call from ATO saying you've got an arrest warrant out for tax (I TOLD HIM TO GO AND F*k HIM SELF).
Scammer:(.
Taxation Scam, I called back and wasted their time a bit, they repeatedly told me to F*** off hahaha - gonna keep doing it until I get bored.
This is a scam... Reported to the federal police and ato. Anyone have any unexpressed anger call these numbers and let rip.
A robo caller from this number left a message on my mobile number saying there is a warrant for my arrest for tax evasion and tax fraud. I looked online to see if there's anything I can do to report the number to Telstra or Optus but it seems they can't or won't take action against somebody that is illegally using their service. I've already reported the same type of call previously to scamwatch and nothing happened. Surely there's something we can do to put this scammer out of business.
Called back a missed number, they told me I was being arrested for tax fraud. Gave me an address that was years old and told me to look up emails that didn't exist. When I asked if he could send any useful information he hung up. I just assumed he was some kind of surly tax clerk until I looked up the number LMAO.
Definitely a scam. Using an autodialler too!
Scam - I agree with the other comments made.
The offender should be burned alive!!
ATO warrant tax scam.
Scam ...
Just got a voicemail as I don't answer any calls from vic as live in qld,
Advising warrant out for my arrest as I have done tax avasion I should not dismiss this message an get my concerned layer to call them. It's static sounds like over sees an robotic.
I had to look around for video camera to make sure I wasn't being punked !
Call from this number saying they had a warrant for my arrest and to call back immediately. Clearly a scam do not reply.
Caller hung up when I answered.
Just received a call, hung up on answer. Most likely scam.
This is a scam. Do not return call, definately not from the ATO.
03 8103 3067.
Just called me saying a recorded message about how they are the tax office.
And I needed to call them immediately back on this number, I could hear the static and the recorded message distortion in the background.. I am not from vic so I am reporting them now as it's false information etc breach of privacy and so everyone knows it's a scam.
Tried to obtain my tax file details and also asking for other personal details. When I asked them to prove they are really from the ATO and to send me an email from an ATO email address they hung up! Reported this number to the police.
