The caller claimed to be from Ergon Energy, stating that I had a rebate owed to me. This seems suspicious and could be a scam attempt.
I received a message instructing me to tell the caller that my phone is tapped and being monitored by the police, and that they are now under investigation. It also suggested I dial ##004# to stop hackers from using my phone to target others.
