This number is definitely a scam. The caller, who identified himself as John, had a call center noise in the background and asked me to open Google to assist with reporting something to the Australian government, which seems highly suspicious.

This is a scam call. The caller was abusive and made threats during the conversation. It’s time we take action to stop these scammers.
This number did not leave a voicemail message, which leads me to believe it is likely a scam. I am reporting it as such.
In the past, Telstra set up a call diversion for my number, requiring any incoming calls to go through them for verification. This process lasted only two weeks and then ended abruptly.

A male caller stated that he was from the security department of Commonwealth Bank. I'm cautious about this since I did not initiate the call.
The caller claimed to be from the NBN (National Broadband Network). Fortunately, the call was disconnected before he could provide further information, which I suspect was just nonsense. I found the situation amusing.
The caller claimed to be from MasterCard. I find this suspicious and suggest being cautious of such calls.
A robotic female voice informed me that I had made a purchase on eBay—which I did not—and required me to verify and finalize payment. Is there a way to report such numbers to telecom companies so they can blacklist them? It would be even better if telecom providers could give this information, including the owner's name and address, to law enforcement for possible action.
An automated message claimed that I would be charged $99 to my bank account for my Amazon Prime subscription, which I have never signed up for, not even for the free trial. They instructed me to press 1 to cancel the charge. When I pressed 1, a man with an Indian accent answered and said he would transfer me to another person, but then he abruptly hung up the phone. When I tried to call back, I only got a dial tone. This appears to be a scam.
This number called and left a message instructing me to click a link to track a parcel. Please do not click the link—delete the message immediately!
