I received an unsolicited phone call from someone offering a 40% discount on my Telstra account. The caller requested my personal information but could not verify any basic details about my account, despite claiming they had that information readily available. Feeling uncomfortable, I decided to hang up.

I received a call purportedly from “PayPal” stating that my account security had been compromised. They knew my full name and address—information that can sometimes be found online—and sent me a text with a code to change my password. It seemed their goal was to obtain sensitive information that could grant them access to my account.

The caller claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank, but I strongly suspect it was a scam attempt.

This call was clearly a scam. As soon as I heard the caller's Indian accent, I recognized it as one from someone claiming to be from AT&T.

This call appears to be a scam raising funds for terrorism. I advise anyone to avoid answering.

The caller claimed to be from Hotmail, informing me that there was an issue with my email account. I felt suspicious and hung up immediately.

I received a call from the number 0421 286 109 asking about potential power savings. The line sounded untrustworthy as when I attempted to call it back, the number did not connect. They claimed that someone would call me back within 10 minutes to offer a better deal. However, I suspect that the return number is either a variation of the mobile number or a different number entirely (0370xxxx). This seems to be a scam attempt.

I received a robotic call claiming to be from the "Commonwealth Bank." The caller stated that there was an attempt to charge $1800 worth of Bitcoin to my debit card. Curious, I pressed '2' to engage, and I was transferred to a scammer who was overly friendly and just said "hello." I declined to continue the conversation, effectively hanging up.

I answered the call, but no one spoke on the other end, and then they hung up. I've now blocked this number.

I received an automated message stating that a transaction of a certain amount had been paid online and instructed me to press 1 to report it or 2 to confirm payment. I hung up, as I feel that legitimate banks wouldn't use a computerized message for such matters. Clearly, this is a scam, and there are an excessive number of them circulating lately.

I got a call from this number but didn't answer. I have been receiving numerous unsolicited calls recently.

I answered a call regarding an alleged issue with my router. The caller claimed they could see I had been hacked and that my lights were off, all without asking for my identity or any personal details. When I told them I wasn't concerned and that they could hack me if they wanted to (clearly realizing it was a phishing attempt), they began verbally abusing me. Definitely a suspicious and unprofessional scam call.

I started receiving an influx of spam calls almost immediately after I signed up and placed an order with Amazon.

Trying to gain entry to the PC by fraud. Pretending to be Telstra.

Did not answer the call because there was a warning indicating it was a suspected scam.

The caller identified themselves as being from Telstra and claimed there was an issue with my internet router.

Claimed to be from Amazon to set up my account properly. Was rather rude and insisted I need a smart device and to follow his instructions. Wanted to confirm personal details but didn’t know my name or anything else. Knew he was a scammer so played along for a while with fake information and got bored and hung up.

A caller claimed to be from the security department of Visa and Mastercard, regarding two transactions on my card. However, they couldn't specify whether it was Visa or Mastercard or which bank was involved, prompting me to hang up.

Phone said was from Amazon with a sus purchase. Scam.

Suspected scam call. When picking up, was made aware of a suspicious transaction to a Mr Smith (LOL) of $800. It was suggested to go to Google and type in something. Obvious but lady was quite insisting.

I received a call from this number which I chose not to answer. I then received a voicemail message saying an iPhone had been ordered on my Amazon account, and if I had not ordered it, I should follow certain instructions. I ignored the message. It was a scam. I have blocked the number.
