Male with extremely difficult to understand indian accent in busy call centre. Male said he was Kerry from Telstra security. Said that my account is believed to have been hacked. He wanted me to put my phone on speaker so I could call out the IP address on my phone. Told him I would do no such thing. He then started yelling and swearing at me. I chose to hang up straight after realising the guy was scammer.

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (03) 7053 1671 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
