Didn't bother answering since I don’t know a soul in that area code. And of course, they left no message. Classic scammer move!
This bloke had the gall to say he was from PayPal's security department! Sounded super shady. Can you believe the nerve of some people?
Honestly, I'm sick of these scam calls. Didn't recognise this number, so I skipped it!
Heads up about this number! They knew my name and had the first 6 digits of my bank card plus the last 4. When I pushed back on their scammy vibes, they cheekily replied, 'ma’am, we haven’t asked for any personal details from you.' Then they started chatting about an international transfer to some Richard Kent in the US for $2040, which they flagged because I hadn't planned any overseas trips. Just doesn't sit right!
So, this number claims it’s from Telstra's tech team and even knows my name. Sounds a bit dodgy to me, doesn't it?
Received a dodgy call claiming they were from the Telstra technical department with a call centre background. The moment I asked them why they were calling, they just hung up. Sounds fishy!
This caller had my surname and a thick accent, but as soon as I heard that, I ditched the call. Rang back and there was no mention of a company or a proper message. Strange, eh?
Call from 0370531538 received at 11:02 am AEST Monday 29/9/25. Long wait until someone answered. They didn't say a name or company just said to call upgrading electricity plan. They hung up in 49sec as I spoke a different language to them. My number is private and unlisted. This was a scam spam call. When dialled it back there was no answer.
So, I get this call from 03 7053 1538 at 11:02 am on a Monday, right? Took ages to get answered, and then they wouldn’t even tell me who they were or what company they worked for. Just waffled on about some electricity plan upgrade. Then they hung up on me! My number’s private, by the way, and when I tried ringing back, not a peep. Pretty sure this scam/spam nonsense could do without a retry!
Got a dodgy recorded message claiming to be from ANZ about some sketchy transaction. They asked me to press 1 or 2, but I’m not even an ANZ customer! Seems a bit off, yeah?
