This seems to be part of an almost daily cluster of phone calls that are scams. They all seem to occur within ~3hrs of each other. To reiterate what others have said, do not trust these callers, they're scams.
Scam claiming to be from eBay.
Scam call from "PayPal cyber security department"
Phoned and pretended to be from bank saying I had made a transaction for $1000 and to press button to speak to them.
I hung up and blocked call….. Total scammers.
Scam. Heavy Indian accent, calling himself Ben Edwards. Said he was from Amazon and had a package with an iPhone for me.
Received a call, hung up as soon as I answered.

This number called me multiple times. When I finally answered, I was met with loud noise and chatter in a language I didn't understand. After about 5-10 seconds, the call was disconnected.
I answered this call since I had just received one from (03) 7049 4877. The caller did not mention my name and claimed to confirm a purchase of an iPhone I made from Amazon in America earlier that day, which I denied. After I declined to follow their instructions about downloading an app twice, the female caller, who spoke with an Indian accent, hung up on me.
Was called and left a voice mail was clearly a scam so I didn’t answer. Apparent location was Melbourne, Victoria.
Called me claiming to be from PayPal. Told him he sounded like a phishing scam and hung up on him.
Scammer pretending to be from National Broadband Network/ Telstra. Claiming there are technical issues with my internet service. I told him that he is scammer and he called me a mother f##ker and hung up.
Scammers.
No message left blocked.
Picked and waited for me ya say something then hanged up.

Just called me, I answered and they hung up.
Scam, don't pick up.
This was a scam call saying they are from Telstra. Apparently I have faults on my line. I am not with Telstra. He hung up on me.

I received a phone call from this number that I believe was a scam. The caller falsely represented themselves as tech support for PayPal.
