Bot call.
Message from CBA stating $1800 transfer not complete.
Hung up and blocked number.
I received calls from this number, as well as a similar number (03) 7049 4869, several times over the past few days. Each time, they did not leave a message. I suspect these calls may be from a telemarketer or spam source.
Claiming to be from Amazon and asked if I had ordered an iPhone. When I said I hadn't, she said, "Thank you, I have cancelled the order" and then hung up??
Female caller stated she was from Telstra and my inte4net was operating on a Public Server and O needed to switch back to Private. She requested access to my computer!!!! I refused and said I'd go in to Telstra. I don't know who she was and hung up.
Claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank.
Pay pal fake story about missing funds. I checked my pay pal to make sure. They even called me back. Spam.
Same scenario here. PayPal story. I hung up and tried to call the number, but total silence.
Answered call said it was ANZ reporting a debit to my Credit Card push 1..... etc. Def a scam call.
Missed call, no message. Flagged as Potential Fraud by carrier.
I answered and there was a bit of a wait. Maybe 10 seconds. Male voice said they were from “security department of PayPal”. Stopped the call immediately. Call said it was from Melbourne.
Called and voice recording said 'this is a call from your visa company we have received a payment of.....'. I hung up.
Clearly SPAM, shame iPhone has no 'Report' number option. Should be able to report these numbers,10 reports in an hour and get them shut down.
Scammers what rotten lowlife people glad did not answer thanks for the previous comments.
Scam. Pretending to be from Google.
Definitely scam from supposedly Visa Bank.... 'we have received a charge of $957.....' after which I ended call.
The call I received felt suspicious and gave the impression that it might have been a scam attempt.
This number was automatically blocked by Telstra as spam. I tried calling back from a different PABX, but the call could not connect, which reinforces my belief that it is a spam call.
This number called my mobile phone three times but stopped ringing before I could answer. They did not leave a voicemail, and I couldn't find any information about this number online.
The caller didn't leave a message and only coughed into the phone, which felt very strange and unsettling.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
