When I answered the call, the person on the other end said my phone would soon be out of service. I found this alarming and chose to hang up.
I received a call claiming to be from Bendigo Bank, asking for my friend. When I called the number back, I was greeted by a message in Chinese, which leads me to believe this is a scam.
Answered and nothing just some quite clicks and disconnected after 20 seconds.
Short ring. No message. SPAM or scam. Blocked.
I was alerted to the possibility of fraud associated with this phone number, and I have concerns about its legitimacy.
Scammers.
Scammer pretending to be Vodafone calling. Asking for a 4 digit pin, played along since I'm not with Vodafone.
Received a call from this number. When answered they hanged up. What a troll.
Got the same as others on here. "Jordan" calling from Vodafone with 40% off discount, and asking for my 6 digit pin to confirm my identity - wouldn't respond to questions asking if I could call Vodafone back using an official number to confirm his legitimacy. I didn't give him my pin and asked he call me back Monday. I found this page and saw the other reviews. If you call the number directly it has some Chinese voicemail.
They called pretending to be vodafone, offering 40% off bill, wanted my vodafone pin to “confirm identity” I gave it and a code was sent to my mobile which they also wanted, the message on code says “vodafone will never ask for this, never give it out” I hung up and called vodafone to change my pin and check no fraudulent activity happened on my account. They called back to complete transaction for my “discount”, I said I know you are scammers and she said how do you know, shut up.
Scammer. Pretending to be from Comm Bank.
They claimed to be Vodafone and offering me a 40% discount on my bill. I said if it was valid I would call Vodafone myself to find out about a discount. They said that it wasn’t available to everyone so I said well there must be a note my account if it was valid for me when I call a legitimate Vodafone number. They then said they’d send me a text to prove they were valid. I said no thank you and hung up. They tried to call me back but I declined the call.
Scammers pretending to be from Visa.
Scammers pretending to be from Vodafone.
I blocked this spam call and reported it through my phone application. A web search suggested that this number could potentially be a spare number that has not yet been allocated for legitimate use.
When I returned the call, I heard a message in an Asian language, followed by an English voice saying I was number 2 in line to speak to a representative. I hung up since there was no information about who the company was.
I got a call from an overseas call center that claimed to be from Vodafone's technical support. It was clearly a scam, so I hung up as soon as I told them I was too busy for their tactics.
I received a call around 7 PM from this number. Since I was expecting another call, I decided to call back; however, when they answered, they immediately launched into a scam message in Chinese, which I couldn’t comprehend.
