I received a call from this number but didn’t answer. It came through to me at 15:26 on 28 December 2023, showing a sender from Melbourne, Victoria, which seemed odd.
This caller is a scammer. They called me from (02) 8529 4192 with a threatening message claiming that my phone service would be terminated unless I took immediate action. I recognized it as a scam.
This call seems to be a likely scam. I didn't answer it, but the voicemail left stated that my phone would be disconnected due to 'abnormal usage' and repeated the message in Chinese, which was quite suspicious.

On December 16, 2023, at 5:18 PM, I received a call from this number, which I did not recognize. When I answered, there was a pause followed by a recorded voice with an American accent warning me that my phone will be disconnected soon. I ended the call as it was clearly a computer-generated voice, indicating a scam.

Scammers pretending to be from Coinbase. Beware do not give them any information about you or your accounts don't tell them anything.
I suspect this call was an attempted fraud or nuisance call. A recorded message in a female Australian voice informed me of an attempted withdrawal from a bank where I don't hold an account. It instructed me to press 1 for yes or 2 for no. I chose not to respond, and the call disconnected. A few minutes later, they called again, but this time there was no one on the line.
