This bloke rang up claiming to be from FedEx, and hit me with a 'surprise' $40 fee on top of what I already paid. Absolute nonsense! I've dealt with import duties long enough to know there's no "quarantine fee". Complete scam!
This number belongs to the FedEx Customs support crew. I reckon they've been trying to get my attention after I had some issues with my parcel stuck in customs. I got a bit jittery from their messages, but when I verified through the official FedEx line, everything checked out!
Just a heads up, mates! The number from FedEx is spot on. They rang me up about some paperwork for my purchase from Europe that I needed for Australian Customs. All good here!
A scammer contacted me and requested that I email them a shipment invoice. However, I have confirmation from FedEx that they possess the legitimate shipment invoice, which shows there are no customs or duties that need to be paid for the shipment. It appears that scammers are unlawfully acquiring information from package shipments and attempting to deceive individuals into paying non-existent customs or duties.
This call was legitimate, and I urge others to stop labeling it as a scam if they are not sure of its authenticity. Not every unknown call is a scam.
I have been a long-time user of FedEx, and this number is legitimate. I also have numerous SMS messages and calls from the number (03) 7019 5541, which others have reported as a scam. Based on my experience, it is definitely not a scam.
This is a legitimate call from FedEx, RE customs entry. The phone calls seem shady and the Emails are just as bad with random numbers @ fedex. Com and bad punctuation and layout. But this number is really from FedEx.
This was a legitimate call from FEDEX in Australia. Their international customs clearance team contacted me regarding a refund for duty that was accidentally paid twice. They called to confirm the refund and to ensure I had received the email confirmation. This call is definitely NOT a scam.
This is not a scam. The tracking number I received was for a set of books I ordered from Amazon. They required my full name for customs clearance, and when I checked the order, it only had my first name attached. I found that the tracking number matched up correctly with both FedEx and Amazon's delivery information.
This caller is definitely with FedEx. I was expecting a delivery, and they informed me that it was being held in customs for clearance. They provided specific details about the package that only this caller would know, confirming that the call is indeed legitimate.

I unfortunately fell victim to a scam from this phone number. It is clear to me that this is a 100% scam operation. Despite my concerns, my package eventually arrived without any additional duties or taxes being charged.
This was a legitimate call. It was from FedEx, informing me about the need to pay GST or duties on a shipment that is being delivered.
