Scammers from a dodgy company they say is called Energy Savers which is using a virtual office at 1 Queens Rd Melbourne as it's alleged address. Calls multiple times a day using many different phone numbers from what appears to be an Indian scam call centre. They clearly have no respect for the Do Not Call register or Australian laws. All callers have Indian accents though speak quite good English. The business has many complaints and bad reviews which indicates it's a scam. I've made numerous complaints to ACMA and the ACCC but nothing seems to be done about them to date.
Got an SMS from this number, and it flagged it as spam. Makes you wonder, right? Just stay cautious!
Got a missed call from Hobart, right? When I rang back, it was an Indian call centre! This poor woman with a heavy accent barely got a hello out before I thought: 'Nah, mate, I'm out!' I rang again and got some young bloke, but with all that background racket, I couldn't make head nor tail of what they were on about. Definitely not getting sucked into their dodgy games!
This number keeps calling me and then just hangs up as soon as I pick up! It seems like there’s some chatter in the background, not sure if it’s a dodgy call center or just random household noise, but it gives me the vibes of a scam. It’s similar to other numbers I've seen, and the accents sound shady, likely an overseas crew trying to pull a fast one pretending to be Aussie!
Scammer from India, I called back and he hung up straight, they use Aus number, this one is still on active and using, a lot of Indians in our country nowadays as well and that could cause dangerous for country, they even can call from mobile phone now.
Received phone call from this number. When I answered, there was no response on the other end. Hanged up & blocked immediately.
Filthy grub scammers phishing & selling energy deals.
Law enforcement needs to followup on this number & take action.
Harrassment.
