The caller did not leave a message, leading me to suspect they are scammers.
We received 17 calls from a supposed representative of "Energy Australia" over the past week. Each time, we have told them to stop calling, then hang up and block the number, but they call back from a different number, making the situation very aggravating.
The caller introduced themselves as being from a company called Power Saver based in South Melbourne. I had difficulty understanding their reason for the call; it involved finding a cheaper energy plan. When I asked them about the cheapest plan available in Melbourne, the conversation shifted to whether I owned a business property. Once I said no, they quickly ended the call, leading me to believe they might be scammers.
The caller claimed to be from a "power saver" service, but they were unable to answer simple questions during the conversation. I do not trust them and suspect they are scammers.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
