Pandemic emergency message was left in mail box. What is that mean? Who played this shit game many times?
Rang today telling me my internet has been hacked and they need to investigate it for me - As happens I have just spent several hrs with my internet provider trying to fix the same problem - I told her it is already under investigation as we speak the Indian accent soon changed to an aussie accent when she called me "an effing are sole"
I believe this number is very likely a scam. They left a voicemail that lasted 28 seconds, stating: "If you are Australian, press 1; if you are a Chinese or International student, press 2." Then they said something about an "epidemic emergency notice."
The call allowed for language selection: press 1 for English and 2 for Chinese. This was a fraudulent call pretending to be from Vodafone.
I got a recorded voice message stating that my phone number would be deactivated in two hours. I found it amusing and thought maybe I could stop paying my high Telstra bills! I didn’t stay on the line to hear the rest of the message.
