Spam, scam. My mobile phone will be cut off today. Would I like to hear this message in Chinese or English. Funny I actually missed the call and they left voice mail: I’ve blocked number like the hundreds before it.
I received a call featuring a robotic voice delivering a message that seemed to be a phishing scam targeting Chinese expatriates. My voicemail transcribed the message, which repeatedly stated: "Epidemic emergency notice for Australian nationality. Press one if you are Chinese or international students. Press two." This definitely raises red flags for a potential scam.
Spam.
Spam caller from Nubina.

The Caller I.D. showed a number based in Nubeena, Tasmania. They left a voicemail, but I chose not to return the call due to the uncertainty surrounding it.
The caller ID indicated that the call was coming from a number located in Nubeena, Tasmania. When I tried to call back, I found the number was disconnected, which raises my suspicions about its legitimacy.
