This call seemed like the typical scam; they intrude into your day without any warning and then hang up without saying anything.
My phone identified this number as a Scam Call, so I declined to answer. However, it automatically went to my voicemail, which was unsettling. The beginning of the message was cut off, but I heard a voice saying something like "speak to an operator in English." I didn't listen to the rest and promptly deleted it. This call seemed very dodgy.
I received a call from this number, but I let it go to voicemail. The recorded message was questionable, stating that my passport had been canceled, and it offered to connect me to an operator either in English or Chinese. The message was then repeated in Chinese, which was confusing.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
