I received another call from a voice named “Olivia,” claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank regarding transaction requests. This is the second occurrence this week from a Tasmanian number, and I am skeptical about its legitimacy.
I received a call from an automated voice named Olivia claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank about a failed transaction of $1800. This sounds very much like a scam.
I received a scam call, and when I expressed uncertainty, the caller suggested that I simply guess the answers during the call.
This number appears to belong to a call center that is likely attempting to scam individuals. When I didn't respond right away, they hung up after a brief moment of silence. When I called the number back, I reached a voicemail message that mentioned "Basic Technology" and instructed me to wait for menu options.
