Scam

I just received a call from a foreign sounding man claiming to be from eBay telling me that someone has ordered an eBay $500 gift card and was it me. I said no. He then said that my IP Address has been hacked and is open for public use. He then told me to go into my phones App store and started to tell me to download an app that would allow remote access. I'm not silly and I told him off, hung up and Blocked and Reported this number.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of (03) 5911 5903 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
