Asian person speaking English stating that it is an epidemic notification. Obviously a computer as it left a message on my phone.. Phone info says number originates in YEA, Victoria.
Do not answer this number.
I am receiving numerous calls from unknown numbers lately, so I don't answer unless I recognize the number. This particular call left a message instructing me to press 2, and thankfully it was in English, unlike some others I've received.
I received a call from this number on a Saturday afternoon, but the caller had a strong foreign accent, and I struggled to understand what they were saying.
Thanks for all the reviews here, I never need to answer to a spam call.
I actually never answer to any phone calls whom I don't know at all!
I missed the call, and when I checked the voicemail, it was in Chinese, which I don’t understand.
The caller threatened that my phone would be disconnected unless I called them back. I found this amusing and decided to wait and see what would happen.
Google sent straight to voicemail as it is SPAM. Asked to press 1 for Ausralian citizen, or press 2 if a Chinese national or foreign student. Scam.
I received a scam message in a language I don’t understand, which appeared to be in Chinese.
The call went straight to voicemail after being marked as SPAM. In the message, the caller instructed me to press 1 if I am an Australian citizen, or press 2 if I am a Chinese national or foreign student, which seemed dubious and possibly scam-related.
I’m really frustrated with these annoying calls, most of which are in Mandarin. I've stopped picking up calls from unknown numbers. If it's important, they will leave a message anyway. Just a few moments ago, I received another call and, guess what? No message was left, which tells me it wasn't important.
That message began by saying 'Emergency Announcement' If you are Australian national, etc.
I was called by this number. A voicemail message was left, asking me to press 1 if I was Australian, or 2 if Chinese. Choosing 1 only brought the message back to the beginning prompt (endlessly). I'm labeling it spam and blocking it.
I did not answer the call, but they left a voicemail in Chinese. I have no idea what they were saying.
