I received a call with an odd request to "Press 2 if you are Chinese." It’s frustrating that this type of scam can continue without action from the Australian government to prevent these nuisance calls.
I received a scam call featuring an automated voice that mentioned an “Australian Epidemic notice” and prompted me to press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese, which raised suspicions.
I received a call with an "Epidemic Emergency Notice." They provided options for responding, with '1' for Australian and '2' for Chinese. I believe this is a scam.
The message instructed me to press one for English or two for Chinese. I chose not to respond, and the voicemail left was entirely in Chinese. Based on this experience, I suspect it is a scam call.
Got a call from what seems to be a spammer, as the message was delivered in both English and Chinese. I've blocked this number and wouldn't recommend engaging with them.
Scammer.
Spam didn't leave message.
Pretends to be an "Emergency Pandemic Announcement" in an asian accent, but then fails because the idiots running it don't know how to setup their VOIP connection.
